Mr. Curry - Crystal Apple Nominee

Michael Curry, teacher, Sprague High School, is a nominee for the 2016 Crystal Apple Awards. Salem-Keizer Education Foundation.

Every year, the Salem-Keizer Education Foundation recognizes local educators with the Crystal Apple Awards.

This year — which marks the 20th anniversary — 47 local educational professionals are nominated for an award.

The 2016 list of nominees consists of teachers, instructional assistants, administrators, office managers and district support professionals.

The event is set for Nov. 3 at Salem’s Historic Elsinore Theatre. All nominees will be celebrated at the ceremony, and a chosen number of honorees will receive a Crystal Apple Award.

Roth’s Fresh Markets will receive the seventh annual Crystal Apple Business Partnership Award, which is given to a local business or organization that has "continuously supported and advocated for education and student success in the Salem-Keizer School District."
