To support students who are experiencing difficulties in their studies, Sprague HS will be offering a tutoring session, titled “Homework Club (HC),” after the regular school day, from 2:45 to 3:45, in the Library.
Process:
- Students may be assigned to Homework Club by their teachers based on the following:
- Not having completed assigned homework
- Missing assignments
- To take a test the student has missed by an excused absence.
- The monitor of the HC will take attendance and report that attendance to the staff the following day.
- For failure to serve the assigned HC session the teachers have the option to turn the student(s) into the Discipline office that day for punitive consequences, or consequence the students themselves.
